Meet Dr. Hsu
Dr. Christensen Sicat Hsu
Dr. Hsu is grateful to be back in North San Diego County after 21 years of combined active duty service in the Navy and Army Dental Corps. She grew up in San Diego County and graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside, California. She earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Kinesiology at the University of California Los Angeles and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at New York University College of Dentistry. She completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Naval Dental Center San Diego and the 4-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. After reaching the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Army, she was selected as a resident student at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where she earned a Masters in Strategic Studies (MSS). She is an accomplished clinician and a proven leader with corporate management experience. She is an advocate for global health engagements and led teams of healthcare professionals in over 250 global health exchanges and humanitarian missions throughout the South Pacific and Asia. She also serves as a mentor for the AEGD Program, NYU Langone Health at the APLA Health Downtown Dental Clinic in Los Angeles, California. She is a dedicated professional and a compassionate clinician who strives to give every patient a positive experience. She is a life-long learner committed to presenting her patients with the most current treatment options. Dr. Hsu recognizes that her patients are unique individuals with different needs who have placed a great deal of trust in her. Dr. Hsu is happy to serve the community and to work closely with other dental professionals to help patients achieve optimal oral health.
